Biquintile
The biquintile separates two planets by 144 degrees, twice the quintile and the second division of the harmonic series of five. It shares the creative and talent-oriented nature of the quintile, with a slightly more complex expression: if the quintile marks the emergence of an ability, the biquintile points more toward its refinement and mature application. In practice, both aspects are read within the same family of meanings. In synastry, it points to an area where the combination of two people generates a singular creative quality, something each brings out in the other that rarely emerges with such precision in other relationships. Like the quintile, it does not work on its own: it needs intention and practice for its potential to become tangible. The typical orb is 1 to 2 degrees.
